Lord Hanuman is very famous for his powers and devotion towards Lord Sri Ramachandra.Our devotion towards lord Hanuman will definitely yield fruitful results which would be strong like him. If any devotee is whole heartedly surrenders himself/herself to Lord Hanuman, then there is nothing makes you weak.

As most of South Indian people knows Thanjavur is a sacred place blessed with most of the ancient temples in and around with powerful deities, one among such temple is our Moolai Anjaneyar Temple (aka) Pratapa veera Anjaneyar temple.

This temple is located at the intersection of 2 main veedhis'(Streets) namely West main street and North main street of Thanjavur. 

This temple is 400 years old and is built by Maharaja Prathap Singh of Thanjavur during Maratha's ruling period.

Lord Hanuman's idol is self-manifested. This is the only temple of Lord Hanuman located at the Vaayu Moolai. This Hanuman is also worshipped by Saint Thyagaraja. 

As this temple is located at the intersection of two streets and is in corner, Lord Hanuman in this sacred place is very powerful. 

Special method of worshipping Lord Hanuman here is to Come around the shrine of Lord Hanuman for 18 times on 18 saturdays' (or) on 18 Amavasyas' or on both occasions will yield the devotees with fruitful results of being their prayers heard by Lord Hanuman and their wishes get fulfilled.

Anybody having perversion(dhosham) of Saturn(shani) planet, those all if they worship Pratapa Veera Anjaneyar with whole devotion their perversion will turn as blessing with the help Lord Hanuman of this Temple.

There is also an idol of King Prathap Singh worshipping Lord Hanuman in the state of meditation or Yog in the outer area of the sanctum of Lord Hanuman.

You people can also find Lord Hanuman in the lap of his mother Sri Anjana Devi in the entrance(Gopuram). No one can find this treat to eye view in any other temple in my knowledge. I hereby attached that beautiful picture for my readers.
