School Days

School days

If anybody asks me to tell about my school days, I have a whole lot of story. As everyone feels that their own school days were best, so are mine. Most of us even wants to get back to our own golden school days.

I'll obviously say, My school life was the best one ever. From 8-12th std, I've studied in Maxwell Matriculation higher secondary school, Thanjavur. People in Thanjavur of course knows this school which is still the best for studies with reasonable fees.

Maxwell Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Thanjavur

Friends:

8-10th standard:

For me, friends were the best part of my school life, who guys made me to write this post.
from 8th to 10th standard I was with other 3 friends, we 4 were the only hindi students from 8-10th standards and when we were in 9th standard there joined one girl as a hindi student, she is a whole different story for me.

Our hindi teacher was strict in the beginning, but after that when I got bonded with other 3 guys, we 4 became her disturbing students and used to evade some class test by simply accepting that we were not ready and the punishment is to stand outside. In the beginning, to stand outside the class is the biggest fear for me, but later I got used to it. The only fear about standing outside the class was our principal, who comes for rounds at any point of time.

I got punished by many subject teachers and get caught by the principal for standing outside the school campus even after the school got over. Tuitions separately, where I got other bunch really good friends. Early morning and evening tuitions. Muthu, Dinesh, Thilakesh, Hari and I were group of friends who used to rode cycles together while going and coming from school and also in tuition.

Subam, marathi boy, he is one of my best friend till now, is very well known for his rotis and subzi(side dish). Every one of our classmates are fond of his lunchbox. As he is my best friend in the class, He loved my Tambrahm Curdrice and I owned his lunchbox(rotis).

After completing 10th standard, other 3 friends moved on to their own track of life. 2 of that joined different schools and Subam went back to his hometown at Maharashtra. But still 3 of them are in contact. That hindi teacher also resigned her job due to personal reasons. I still miss those hindi classes held for us separately in one of the classrooms at the top floor.

 11th and 12th standards:

I chose 'PCM stream' also known as the 'First group' (in south Indian context) in the same school. With that already known friends came more closer and became best friends for life. 11th and 12th standards were again became the best part of my school life. Computer, Physics and chemistry practicals were my nightmares at that time. I went to different tuitions for different subjects. Haribalan and Thilakesh became my best buddies and also my benchmates in 11th standard. Rajaguru and Asiq were late entrants into our group. Both of them made their debut through Haribalan as they were classmates in 12th standard. Rajaguru is always ready with his mischievous counters loaded, to help us laugh a lot and made our moments happier and making till now. Asiq is the silent killer, who knows all our secrets and a green sand(lol).

In 11th standard one important yet funny incident was that We 3(Hari, Thilakesh and Myself) get caught by our computer ma'am in whose class we used talk more and she found her chance for a revenge(lol). We get caught for carrying a mobile phone, but somehow we manage to hide our mobile phone and escaped from a serious punishment as our principal just advised three of us and sent us back. The height of fun is that Hari was caught for a fake reason as Thilakesh and I were only carrying our phone that day. Still I appreciate Hari for being more attentive and hid our phone with his serious efforts. LOL!!!

How can I forget my bujji boy ??? Rambabu, another good, silent and funny boy was our benchmate, who managed Thilakesh, Hari and my tortures and also enjoyed with us.

Tuition stories:

Selva Kumar's maths tuition which was the best centre for maths, I went there too and discontinued within the 3rd day after joining. It was another fun story there as sir told me 'take your bag and run back to your home', I didn't even uttered a single word and left the place without turning back again.

Chemistry's KC sir, the coolest teacher ever. That's where My friends and me upgraded our technological skills by referring to pdfs' for the unit tests held every sunday. That's the only subject tuition where we voluntarily wrote tests as it's simple. But our sir knew this very well and kept calm throughout our batch tuition completed.

Physics tuition and Hari made the best memorable days and our sir's pet name Anniyan added more to it. I was the only one who never wrote a single test given by him.

We used to bunk tuitions due to tests and our laziness. I was the lazy bum in the whole gang. We bunked schools also after a serious discussions and stayed in our homes for no reasons. Being a backbencher helped me to figure out these techniques.

My serious study partner was Thilakesh. We sat together for hours and hours to study and finally managed to score 70% marks in our 12th boards and Hari, being topper of our group scored 90%. Heartfelt thanks to Thilakesh's mom, who made delicious dosas to keep our energy levels up throughout our exam days and My mom for being a moral support and also helped to relieve my stress out.

Though it's all about my school days, I request my readers to post their best school memories in the comment section. Just to know how people view their school days as their best days.

Again completing this longest post of my blog than the previous one.

 Yours East Gaterr
