A drop of water !!!

I hope all our people are enjoying this summer unlike the previous one. It’s not sarcastic, even I’m suffering because of this extreme summer. It’s just the bad karma of what we gave to nature, is giving back to us.

Everybody is suffering because of this extremely firing hot sun. We should at least thank god for keeping us alive, keeping us in a shelter to escape from this sun, for letting us have some cool air under the fan in our own house and many of us are even more than lucky to enjoy the cool breezes from our air conditioned home.

Colourful Nature

Think of those who burn under the sun without any shelter. We people are so sophisticated that if some human burning under sun, we don’t care at all, but if there’s some cute puppy or dog suffers, we make Instagram stories, Facebook posts and all media posts, stating to help the poor being.

How poor or dumb!!! For not realizing the mistake we did to our nature. Actually not a mistake, its blunder which makes more sense, but still unable to compensate all the evils we did to mother nature.

No not at all, I just thought to realize the mistakes and helping those who read this, to make them understand the high significance of a single drop of water. It might not surprise you that after few months itself, WATER might become the most valuable commodity one could trade for.

Delhi, capital of India is facing water shortage in few areas, where poor resides. However in any cases, richer men digs up to whatever feet they want to, they dig and get either gold or water.

Chennai, capital city of Thamizh Nadu, which has sound economic happenings, major IT companies, millions of people seeking their livelihood, is facing one of the major threatening drought in years. IT companies asking their employees to work from home because of the unavailability of water. People who are in slum running and chasing water tanker Lorries. Some lazy people still find their happy reasons to not to take shower nowadays in Chennai.

Maharashtrian farmers are suffering without water. They are in such critical condition that without agriculture and farming there is no livelihood for them. For agriculture they need water. 

I felt very sad when a village near Virudhunagar district is totally ran out of water supply and the government officials didn’t responding at all. The elders of the village Kariyapatti near Muthuramalingapuram, found digging in a dried river up to 15 feet and taking water from that and from morning to evening they’re just getting around 20 liters of water.

The major lakes which provide water to Chennai is facing drastic decreasing levels in water. The government of Thamizh Nadu, no its Tamil Nadu, seeking water from neighbor states, whereas it failed to conserve and store the water they already shared it for the goodness of agriculture and depending factors.

For some political gains, people from Thamizh nadu were instigated in the name of fake communalism, were abusing neighbour states for not releasing the required amount of water. Whereas those who abused, who did nothing just witnessing the water being wasted in many places in different means.

Investing in Nature

Investment is an advantage for many to safeguard our future. Many people who earn money wants to invest for their own and family’s goodness and invest money for a sound monetary future. When it comes for the safety and availability of valuable resources like environment and water. Invest few bucks in planting trees, invest few hours in planting and gardening, invest few liters of water in watering the plants. Again it might not be surprise for us, we all will shift our investments from equity, mutual funds, properties and gold to investing everything in water. If we don’t act at all, like not at all caring for our own future generation of our family, then what’s the use of all other securities and properties, if we can’t provide them a natural rich environment for living a healthy life ???

If we can’t give them a safe place for their life, then we are worth for nothing but destroying our own earth.

Incidents that I encountered

There are several incidents where I get into action with many things when it comes to save water.

When I was in Delhi during my graduation, my pg roommates used mineral water to wash their face and hair. When I approached them for not to use, they complained about the hardness of the salty water, which causes them skin problems and hair loss.

When I was in my brother’s house, our neighborhood old age couples used to close the tap not so tight. Due to that the water will drip everyday like, 24*7 for 365 days. When I intervened and closed the tap tight they complained me as they were weak enough to open the tap, it ended up me in a heated argument with my brother.

General incidents like, whenever I go to places and see water dripping or open taps, I go and try to close them. I don’t leave any taps or any water leakage if it comes to my vision.

What do we do for saving water ?

1. I direct the ejected water from my AC to plants.
2. My brother uses the ejected water from RO to clean his house and vessels.
3. If my water tank overflows, I collect them and use it for washing machine or cleaning home.

No more complaining about government and administrative, we taking the individual responsibility and initiative is the best way to fight and earn what is our rights!!!

The temple for sweet tooth - Venni Karumbeshwarar

As our lifestyle has changed over these many years, people are more often fall sick with many dangerous diseases. Diabetes is one among them. As doctors and other pharmaceutical partners up for making it a huge business with people falling ill, we “Indians” have the simplest way to prepare medicines for serious diseases as well.

In one of my post previously where I’d wrote about the simplest homemade medicine for diabetes, I told my readers about this post, where I’ll write about a temple, which is a specific temple which cures disease, If we offer our sincere prayers.

The temple is Soundarya Nayagi Sametha Sri Venni Karumbeshwarar, located in a peaceful place among dense trees and in between agricultural fields of Kovil Venni, Thiruvarur District. This temple, like other Lord Shiva's temple has got Lord Ganesha, Lord Subramanya, Dakshinamurthy, Goddess Durga, Chandikeshwarar, Lord Bhairavar and Navagraha Sannadhis (Shrines).

This temple comes among the temples of Lord Shiva, 102nd temple located in the southern bank of River Cauvery. Kovilvenni is also known as Thiru Venniyur. This temple dates back to 5000 years, during the time of Musukundha Chakravarthy.

History of the temple

During the Thiruvarur temple works, Musukundha Chakravarthy, on his way to Thiruvarur, found this place to be a forest/field made up of Sugarcanes. He saw 2 Sages arguing about the Sthala Vruksham of the temple. One Sage says that Sugarcane is the Sthala Vruksham, whereas the other says Nandhiyavattai is the Sthala Vruksham. 

Musukundha Chakravarthy got confused and finds both the sages possessing great knowledge and decides not to argue in between them. He prays to Lord Thyagaraja. Lord Thyagaraja, in oracular voice, confirmed that the Sthala Vruksham is Nandhiyavattai and the main deity of this place is present in a sugarcane like structure in the black forest.

Lord Thyagaraja then asks the Musukundha Chakravarthy to establish a temple for the main deity, so that the deity can cure all the disease of those who pray to him. The servants of Musukundha Chakravarthy finds the deity in the forest. When they want to build a temple by bringing out the whole Vigraham (idol), the servants dug for 36 feet and still were unable to find the base of the Vigraham.

As they were unable to find the base and the Vigraham is a Swayambu Murthy (formed naturally, they built it like a dome. The height between the pond of the temple and the deity is 36 feet.

After 3000 years of this incident, Karikala Chozhan fights against Chera and Pandiya kings. Vennippor (Battle of Venni) is a remarkable war that Karikala Chozhan had fought. He did many construction works for the temple after his victory.

Kuzhothunga Chozhan visited this temple during 12^th Century and further built this temple in stone. Temple was famous even during the Sangam period. Venni Kuvaithiyar, who had sung Puranaanuru songs in literature.

Prayers offered

The main prayer offered to Venni Karumbeshwarar in order to get rid of diabetes is that they need to do Archana with the Rava (Sooji) and Sugar, then they have to put it slowly while coming around the temple. Diabetes is believed to be cured as how much the insects (like ants) consume the grains that the devotees have dropped in the temple premises. 

Not only diabetes, the deity here can cure all kind of disease. Once a devotee enters this temple, he/she could get rid of not only physical disease but also could get rid of mental stress and all.

Soundarya Nayaki Amman here likes bangles. Those who are facing difficulties in case of marriage and those who need children can pray to Ambal (Goddess) to offer her bangles after their wishes gets fulfilled.

The Vibhuthi offered here should be consumed with water for 24 days after chanting “Om Shri Venni Karumbeshwaraya Namaha”. The temple’s priest himself got effective feedback from many number of devotees.

Medical Miraculous Incident

One such incident which happened with a doctor from America (South Indian), practicing heart specialist, was affected by diabetes and was advised to remove his foot due to an injury. He came, visited Venni Karumbeshwarar, and offered his praying for his betterment after the surgery.

After going back to America was tested before the surgery and as his diabetes consultant found that his sugar level in blood is perfectly alright, aborted the surgery. His juniors asked him, whether he had visited any super specialists in India, he told them about the Supremacy Venni Karumbeshwarar and called the priest of the temple and was crying out of joy.

This is a real case of “What a Medical Miracle? “.
